RIOT!

Welcome to Riot! - a source for Metal and Hardcore related news, as well as analysis and general articles.

First off, let me explain that the music in this blog ranges from some of the most extreme genres of metal and hardcore to more pop orientated, melodic metal. I'll try not to leave anything out specifically. The interests of this blog is to give a wide variety of heavy music from August Burns Red, Suicide Silence to A Day To Remember and Escape The Fate. I really enjoy bands from all over the spectrum and I am sure that there will be something for just about everyone to enjoy. Not only would I like to write about established bands but also would like to give exposure underground acts. There are plenty and it would be nice if they saw some exposure for their hard work.

As far as credentials go -I'm a metalhead. Plain and simple. I work to metal, I run to metal, I fall to sleep to metal and I wake up and put on metal. I think that basically covers that. I'm also am a writer -though my focus is in creative writing- this is not that far of a reach. Writing is writing any way you cut it. Lastly, I'm a musician. I've composed songs and recorded them.

I'll be updating this regularly to give up to date news on music releases and other music that I don't think you should miss out on.

Keep a look out much more to come.
